Families are eligible for a number of opportunities within SoWashCo Schools from our Early Learning programs, elementary magnet programs (Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion and Multiage at Valley Crossing Elementary), to our new SoWashCo Online for students in grades 9-12.

Families living in SoWashCo Schools boundaries should have received the SoWashCo School and Enrollment Guide in their mailbox. The guide includes helpful information about your child’s boundary school, our magnet programs and a look into the different services and opportunities we offer.

Magnet Programs and Priority Enrollment

SoWashCo Schools offers two magnet programs, the Spanish immersion magnet program hosted at Nuevas Fronteras Spanish Immersion School and our multiage magnet program hosted at Valley Crossing Elementary School. Priority enrollment is now underway through Friday, Feb. 11. During this time, we encourage you to first enroll your kindergarten child into their boundary school and then complete the online application to have your child entered into the lottery for one of our two magnet programs. Families who participate in the lottery will be notified if their child is accepted or placed on the waiting list for a magnet program in March.
