South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) and the United Teachers of South Washington County (UTSWC) met for their 12th public negotiation session on Nov. 15.

The union’s economic counter proposal was emailed prior to session 12. Open items were reviewed as well as the union’s updated economic counter proposal.

Following the presentations, each group caucused by meeting in separate rooms to discuss the economic proposal. The groups returned and the district presented an updated economic offer.

The next negotiation session between SoWashCo Schools and UTSWC is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 7.
