SoWashCo Schools wants to emphasize the importance of using a  unique password for each website you use to prevent your accounts from being improperly accessed.

Yesterday, we shared with elementary families that there was an issue with SeeSaw, our learning software for elementary students. SeeSaw experienced unauthorized access to its messaging system that generated messages with an inappropriate image sent from parent accounts to staff accounts. The problem impacted all school districts that utilize the platform.

SeeSaw has shared that a third party used emails and passwords found from compromised websites to send the message. Compromised usernames and passwords are often used on other website accounts that reuse the same credentials. SeeSaw has taken steps to secure the platform and reset the passwords of the accounts that were impacted.

SoWashCo Schools wants to emphasize the importance of using a  unique password for each website you use to prevent your accounts from being improperly accessed.

Out of an abundance of caution, South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) has updated SeeSaw to ensure students have the most up-to-date safety features.

If you would like to reset your SeeSaw password, you can do so at this link
