Students in Grade 11 to Participate in ACT on April 18

Students in grade 11 will participate in the ACT (American College Testing) exam on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. ACT results provide information about a student’s academic readiness for college and are used for college and scholarship applications. 

The following is important testing information:

• The ACT is offered at no cost to families. 

• Registration is not required, but students must attend school to take the test. There will not be a make-up opportunity. 

• The online version of the ACT will be administered to students at school.

• The writing portion of the ACT will not be offered. If students would like to take the ACT Plus Writing, please contact your child’s counselor for more information about national testing dates and potential fee waivers. 

• Students in grade 12 may also take the ACT on April 18 if they did not participate in ACT testing last year. Students should reach out to their principals as soon as possible. 

Detailed information will be emailed to the families of students in grade 11 closer to the testing date.
