Gina Kuah, an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) senior at Woodbury High School, has earned the Questbridge Scholarship that will provide her with full tuition, room and board, transportation, books and additional support as she heads to college next fall at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA.

Kuah has been part of SoWashCo Schools AVID program for six years, starting when she was in grade 7. “I’ve been able to develop and implement helpful studying strategies and time-management skills, which has brought me a ton of success when it comes to my grades,” said Kuah.

Kuah says she plans to pursue a future as a successful accountant and eventual CEO of her father’s company in her home county of Southern Cameroon.

Congratulations Gina. SoWashCo Schools is proud of your accomplishments and wish you success!
