As a service to our community, this space is for SoWashCo Community Education and non-profit groups to share special events, programs and activities.

SoWashCo Community Education Activities Flyers 

SoWashCo Community Education offers quality education, enrichment and athletic opportunities for all ages. These programs provide participants with opportunities to pursue their interests, expand their abilities and improve social skills in a fun and safe environment. To see our full list of offerings visit sowashco.ce.eleyo.com.

SoWashCo Community Education partners may send flyer distribution requests to flyers@sowashco.org. Requests must be for a current or upcoming SoWashCo Community Education activity or class. Please include the link to the class in Eleyo and a PDF flyer.

Coffee with a Cop hosted by SoWashCo Community Education

Join us for a casual conversation with officers from the Cottage Grove Police Department. Come by to get your questions answered and to meet some of the officers who serve our community.

Strawberry Fest Ambassadors

The Strawberry Fest Royal Ambassador Program exists to provide opportunities for involvement with the local and surrounding communities to support the growth and development of youth.

  • Applications for the 2024 Strawberry Festival Ambassador program are now open for girls and boys ages 8-21.
  • An informational meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Carbone's in Cottage Grove.

Girl Scouts River Valleys - Saint Paul

Open House for Grades K-3

Learn about being a Girl Scout, explore opportunities to start a local troop and sign up! This even is open-house style—come anytime and stay as long as you like.

Grades K-1 can join Girl Scouts for free through March 31, 2024! Use code 477 GSWINTER2024 when you register.

Grades K-12 are welcome and invited to join. Financial assistance is available.

Middle School Ultimate Frisbee

Join the Leopards Middle School Ultimate Frisbee Team! Ultimate Frisbee is a team sport, with an emphasis on Spirit of the Game and sportsmanship, having fun while being competitive! We play 5 on 5 with a lot of running and passing.  All skill levels are welcome.  Practices are held Mondays and Wednesdays with games on Saturdays from April through May.  

Open to athletes in grades 5-8
